Lead Pastor
Pastor Dale E Turner is a faithful pastor, anointed teacher and a true shepherd. She is the visionary leader of Lighthouse Community Church of God.
Called to ministry in 1991, Pastor Dale has served at Lighthouse since 1998, starting as the Director of Children's and Youth Ministries and Worship leader. In 2001, she was elevated to the position of Body Life Pastor. In 2016, by unanimous decision, she became the first woman pastor of Lighthouse church.
Pastor Dale has served the Church of God at the local and state levels. Serving as the Youth Director of the Greater Detroit Metropolitan Fellowship, Overseeing Youth rallies for the Detroit Metropolitan area. A Member of the Church of God in MI, Credentials Team, Workshop presenter, Interim pastor, and Ministry Coach and current Vice-Chair of the General Assembly of the Church of God in MI.
She attended Bay Ridge Christian College, Spring Arbor College, Hurley School of Nursing, Southern CA School of Min. as well as Ashland Theological Seminary. Pastor Turner was ordained by the Church of God in Michigan in 2001.
After 37 years, Pastor Dale is now a retired NICU nurse and full time pastor. She is a widow who loves football and the Chicago Bears is her favorite team.
